Mercedes Mone Title Challenger Reacts To The AEW Star Losing Another Championship AEW

Thirteen was something of an unlucky number for Mercedes Mone when it came to championships, and an upcoming opponent has reacted.

Having recently unified the ROH Women’s World Television Championship against Red Velvet, Mercedes Mone would face her once again at Final Battle.

It would be Velvet who would walk away with the title, leaving Mone with just twelve championships to her name, resulting in the highly decorated star not sleeping or eating properly as a result.

As if this wasn’t enough, an opponent has addressed Mone’s ROH title loss ahead of their upcoming match for the Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

At Revolution Pro Uprising on December 14, Mone will defend the Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Rhio, who tweeted:

“See you next weekend@MercedesVarnado👀”

Mone was less than happy with the post from her opponent, making a simple demand in response, posting:

“SHUT UP”

The Undisputed British Women’s Championship has been in the hands of Mone since AEW Wrestle Dynasty in January of this year.

That Tokyo, Japan pay-per-view saw Mone defeat Mina Shirakawa in a Winner Takes All match for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and the Rev Pro title.

Mone has since defeated Kanji, Safire Reed and Emersyn Jayne to retain the championship, with the latter seeing the AEW star also become the Destiny Wrestling DW Women’s Champion in August.

Mercedes Mone topped the PWI Women’s 250 rankings in 2025, with the full top ten visible right here.
