Before she makes her massive New Japan Pro Wrestling in-ring debut this Saturday, February 18 against KAIRI, Mercedes Moné (fka Sasha Banks) has shared an emotional new clip.
Seen in the clip as being emotional but grateful regarding the support she’s been shown by fans, Mercedes Moné teases more to come.
The hotly anticipated return to the ring is set for the NJPW’s pay-per-view, Battle in the Valley.
Mercedes will face a former WWE rival, KAIRI, for the IWGP Women’s Championship at the NJPW Battle In The Valley event in San Jose, California on February 18.
KAIRI’s defense against Mercedes is listed as the ‘co-main event’ and is set to be the penultimate match on the show.
The event sold out with only the Mercedes Moné vs. KAIRI match announced however since another major match has been added as c0-main event.
Mercedes Moné made her debut in NJPW after famously walking out of WWE in May 2022 along with Trinity Fatu (fka Naomi) which was later addressed on-air but without additional details officially released in the months that followed.
