Former IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone has teased a new STARDOM faction with two AEW regulars.
With Mone losing her NJPW/STARDOM gold to Mayu Iwatani at All Star Grand Queendom, many have been wondering what’s next for the CEO.
Mone has confirmed that her next NJPW appearance will be in the US, at the May 21 Resurgence event in Long Beach, California.
Ahead of Mone’s US wrestling return, there has been a lot of speculation about her role on that show.
Mone has now teased a new STARDOM faction with a rising tag-team.
The former WWE star took to Twitter to retweet a photo of Charlette and Robyn Renegade, captioning the post:
Perfect for my stardom faction
The Renegade Twins have regularly appeared on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation since May 2021. The duo also appear for ROH, with Robyn notably facing off against Willow Nightingale on last week’s (April 20) edition of ROH TV.
The duo are also former NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions, holding the gold in February.
