TBS Champion Mercedes Mone says “I love making kids cry” in regards to upcoming AEW match against Billie Starkz.

On the March 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, Billie Starkz issued a challenge to reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone for a title match on the March 19 episode.

This challenge has been ten years in the making with Starkz sharing various photos of her younger self meeting Mone at an autograph signing.

Twitter/X user @Deadeditors_ wrote a post looking back at NXT TakeOver: Respect where a video package aired with a young Billie Starkz wearing a Bayley shirt ahead of Mone’s Iron Woman Match on the show.

On March 18, Mercedes Mone took to social media to respond to this post and comment on her upcoming match with Starkz. She wrote:

I love making kids cry! Time to send her back to her minion mommy

Mone will defend the TBS Championship against Billie Starkz on this Wednesday, March 19 AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings.
