Mercedes Mone Wants To Face Or Team With Rapper In AEW

TBS Champion and NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone wants to face or team with Megan Thee Stallion in AEW.

At AEW All In London, Mercedes Mone defeated Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. to retain the TBS Championship.

Mone will have a litany of challengers for her gold on the All Elite Wrestling roster, but it seems like she has a different contender in mind.

In a new interview with TMZ Sports, Mercedes Mone discussed the idea of possibly facing or teaming up with hip hop star Megan Thee Stallion. She said:

“A couple years back me and Meg we’re supposed to do something in the ring together,”

“We were just rehashing that conversation, seeing where that could all play in the future. Whether she’s gonna be my tag team partner or my opponent, we have to see, but I want to get Meg Thee Stallion in the ring very, very soon one day.”

Mone is set to defend the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship against STARDOM’s Momo Watanabe this Friday, August 30 at NJPW Capital Collision.
