Former WWE star Mia Yim made a surprise return to IMPACT Wrestling during Saturday’s (May 7) Under Siege special.
On the show, Taya Valkyrie successfully defended her AAA Reina De Reinas Championship against Deonna Purrazzo. After Purrazzo continued to attack Valkyrie after the bout, the lights went out, before revealing Mia Yim on the ramp.
Yim entered the ring and fought off Purrazzo, before celebrating with Valkyrie.
The HBIC wrestled for IMPACT between 2015 and 2017, notably holding the Knockouts Championship in 2016.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Yim has now signed with IMPACT Wrestling.
Yim was released by WWE in November, after three years with the company. She returned to the independent scene at the end of March, wrestling Athena (Ember Moon) at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show
