Mia Yim Reveals Which Current WWE Stars Supported Her After Release

Despite their epic and storied social-media feuding, Mia Yim had high praise for a WWE star in the wake of her release from the company.

Mia Yim has made a triumphant return to IMPACT wrestling but recently had a chat with Denise Salcedo about her time in WWE and her return to the ring.

Yim was interviewed by Denise Salcedo where she shared which of her former co-workers were most supportive following her release, saying:

“So it wasn’t until like… I know I bust Shelton’s balls all the time, but he and Keith and even Ali, I had a lot of support. Shelton was like ‘Don’t let them define you. Go do what you’re known to do’. So it was just having the support of others, kinda pushing me, because if it wasn’t for them I probably wouldn’t even be back. Even everyone that is still there like Ali, saying, ‘Yo, you’re a badass, you’re a f’n badass?’”

Both Shelton Benjamin and Mustafa Ali remain employed by WWE and appear on WWE Raw with most recently Ali appearing in an angle with Vince McMahon’s protege, Theory.
