Former TNA Knockouts Champion and Mae Young Classic star Mia Yim has signed a contract with WWE.
The signing of Yim had been all bur confirmed earlier this week when she appeared in a WWE.com video of female superstars doing weight training the Orlando Performance Center.
She was was one the standouts in this years Mae Young Classic, with the crowd audibly chanting “please sign Mia”. Clearly, someone in the back was listening, as PWInsider has now confirmed that she has signed on the dotted line.
Presumably, this will be a developmental contract, just like the one signed by her partner Keith Lee. The pair spent a few days at Disney World together last week, so hopefully they will have celebrated together in style.
This makes Yim the first competitor from the 2018 MYC to sign for the company, perhaps indicating that WWE is a big fan of her work.
