First Mention Of WWE Star By Name Since Absence

On tonight’s WWE premium live event, Extreme Rules an interesting reference on commentary after a very long time.

During Bayley’s entrance for her match against WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Michael Cole used a name we haven’t heard in months.

After the infamous “unprofessional” comments after Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the company, they haven’t been seen on WWE TV or discussed.

Until tonight at Extreme Rules when Michael Cole referenced Sasha Banks by name during Bayley’s entrance.

In reference to Bayley’s infamous iron woman match in NXT against Sasha Banks, she was referenced by name for the first time since the May 2022 walk out.

The ladder match remains ongoing at this time after there was already a title change in the WWE Women’s division at Extreme Rules.

Earlier in the night Ronda Rousey reclaimed the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship after defeating Liv Morgan.
