An update on the length of Michael Cole’s new WWE contract that he signed last year has now been revealed.
It was reported in August 2024 that Michael Cole had signed a new contract with WWE in the Spring of 2024, though the length of Cole’s deal was not revealed.
During his appearance on Impaulsive, Michael Cole detailed the reasons behind him opting to re-sign with the company, crediting the new regime for making him feel important.
He said:
“I just signed a brand new contract with the company, so I’m gonna be here for a number of years.
“The company really made me feel, for the first time, that I was really important to this place. After 28 years.
“The paycheck is part of it, but the new regime had a lot to do with it.”
Later in the episode, Cole was asked how long he had left on his WWE contract, with him confirming that he has eight years left on his deal.
Cole has been with WWE for 28 years, with him serving as the ‘voice of WWE’ since his move to the Raw brand during the 2008 WWE Draft.
Cole commented on the recent issues between WWE and Corey Graves, which you can see here.
