Kenny Omega’s right-hand man, Michael Nakazawa, has picked up an interesting new role in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
It was announced recently that episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage would become available to watch on New Japan World, NJPW’s streaming service.
Well, Michael Nakazawa has been tasked with the role of adding Japanese subtitles to the shows. He tweeted:
Although I almost turned down this offer from #njpwworld since I wasn’t confident, I’ve been working on Japanese subtitles for #AEW shows which are webcast to Japanese fans via NJPW world. I am green at this job, but I will try my best so that more Japanese fans will enjoy AEW.
Nakazawa has only had one match in AEW so far this year, which was a win over Joey Sweets on Dark. He hasn’t wrestled for AEW regularly since April 2021, but did appear on TV pretty much every week throughout Kenny Omega’s AEW World Title reign.
