Former Champion Teases WWE Return

Former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool has teased a dream match with Charlotte Flair, following Flair’s recent comments.

On WWE The Bump, Flair noted that McCool is one of her dream opponents, along with Mickie James and Lita.

Naming the stars she wants to one day face in singles action, Flair said:

“In terms of people who maybe no-one would’ve ever thought about, I always say Mickie James is someone I’ve always wanted to face.

“Michelle McCool is another person. And I’ve never had that one-on-one (match) with Lita, so those three women would definitely (be her dream feuds). “

McCool has now reacted to the clip, noting that she stays ready for an in-ring return.

Tagging Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, McCool wrote:

McCool last wrestled in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match. She hasn’t wrestled a singles bout since losing to Layla at Extreme Rules 2011.

Royal Rumble 2023 is just around the corner, with the highly anticipated event set to emanate from the Alamodome on January 28.
