It has been a week since Mickie James was released by WWE. She has since commented on her release, saying she got comfortable being uncomfortable with her position.
However, now she has tweeted out a picture of her WWE belongings being given to her in a garbage bag. Not exactly the treatment a Hall of Fame-worthy talent would expect. Here is the tweet:
Dear @VinceMcMahon Im not sure if you’re aware, I did receive my @WWE care package today. Thank you. #AlwaysBlessedandGrateful #WomensWrestlingMatters ? pic.twitter.com/PyDC7ZC9lG

Mickie James returned to WWE in the Fall of 2016 when she wrestled Asuka at NXT Takeover Toronto. She then moved to the main roster once again in early 2017. Her run was largely uneventful, getting the rare championship match here and there.
James returned from a torn ACL last Summer but was not even given a push when she returned to television.
Former WWE star Maria Kanellis responded to James’ tweet, saying she received similar treatment when she was released last year.
Last year I got one too. ? https://t.co/LraFKUWWGo
