Mickie James Appears Backstage With WWE NXT Star WWE

WWE NXT star Fallon Henley has been praised by one of her inspirations, the former Women’s Champion Mickie James.

Henley has previously referenced her adoration for the five-time TNA Knockouts World Champion, paying tribute to the star at NXT Battleground in June 2024.

Recently, James, who is the Creative Director, Head of Female Talent and Executive Producer of OVW, shared her admiration of the NXT star in a backstage video which can be seen below this news story.

In the short video that was shared on the WWE NXT Twitter account, James gave her positive assessment of Henley’s time in NXT, saying:

“I think that she’s doing a fantastic job all on her own, right?

“It’s cool to have been an inspiration to anyone, but I think that you’ve obviously taken that whole style and made it her own.”

Henley would become visibly emotional at James’ word, with the former WWE Divas Champion comforting her.

It appears that Henley and James will be spending some time together in the future, with the revelation of plans to go horseriding.

Their time together won’t just be riding horses, with cleaning the stalls also being a topic of conversation.

The video would end with James saying that Henley is “killing it” after a brief exchange about the comforting world of horse stalls.

Henley is the current NXT Women’s North American Champion having won the title from the inaugural champion, Kelani Jordan, at Halloween Havoc in October 2024.
