Mike Kanellis Claims WWE Higher-Ups Do Not Care About 205 Live

Mike and Maria Kanellis joined WWE in 2017, bypassing NXT and heading straight to WWE’s main roster. After runs on both Raw and Smackdown, Kanellis made the jump to 205 Live, and has been mixing it up with the cruiserweights for just shy a year now.

Another former Raw and Smackdown star in Chad Gable made the move to 205 Live this week, and his match with Jack Gallagher earned an enormous amount of praise from fans and critics alike, as did the episode as a whole.

Mike Kanellis took to Twitter to sing the praises of what he regarded as “the best wrestling show of the week”. He then asked if WWE management was now “paying attention”.

Mike then responded to a subsequent tweet from a fan who said that WWE officials do not care about 205 Live despite it being considerably better than both Raw and Smackdown. Kanellis agreed, but he did say that the members of the 205 Live roster do care:

This comes after Mike and Maria Kanellis both reportedly requested their WWE releases at the beginning of the year. It is also believed that the couple’s contracts with the company are due to expire in a matter of days. It is unknown at the time whether they have/will be re-signing.
