NJPW star Minoru Suzuki will return to GCW in October to do battle with former GCW World Champion Nick Gage.
During last night’s (September 17) GCW Highest in the Room show, Suzuki defeated former ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham. After the match, Nick Gage showed up and brawled with Suzuki.
Gage then issued a challenge to the NJPW star, which was promptly accepted. The match will happen on the October 23 GCW card in Los Angeles.
Gage is set to challenge AEW’s Jon Moxley for the GCW World Championship on October 9. Suzuki has been wrestling for several promotions in the US, recently facing Moxley on the September 8 edition of Dynamite.
Suzuki and Lance Archer will team to face Moxley and Eddie Kingston during next week’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam in a Lights Out match.
