Another wrestler has revealed that Minoru Suzuki needed stitches after his match with Jon Moxley on the September 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.
In the main event of last night’s show, Moxley defeated NJPW star Minoru Suzuki in Moxley’s first singles match on Dynamite since July. During the match, Suzuki was busted open, receiving a cut near his right eye.
Suzuki’s face was bloody for the remainder of the bout. On Instagram, The Japanese star has confirmed that he required 7 stitches after Dynamite went off the air.

Emi Sakura posted a video to Twitter where she attempted to interview Suzuki backstage. As per a fan’s translation, Suzuki didn’t appreciate the budding wrestler-journalist’s questions:
Sakura: “Mr.Suzui. Mr.Suzui, How was oh…How was Moxley?”
Suzuki: “You annoying. go away”

Suzuki had confronted Moxley at All Out, following the former AEW World Champion’s victory over Satoshi Kojima. It has been reported that there are plans for Moxley to eventually face Hiroshi Tanahashi down the line.
After Dynamite, Moxley and Brian Pillman Jr addressed the Cincinnati crowd before singing the “Skyline Chili” song to send the crowd home happy.
