Miro & CJ Perry Break Silence Following AEW TNT Title Loss

AEW star Miro and his wife CJ Perry have taken to social media after Miro lost the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara last night.

The Bulgarian had reigned with the title since May 12 when he won it from Darby Allin, with his run clocking in at 140 days – the second longest of all time so far, behind Allin’s 186.

After losing the strap in the main event of last night’s Dynamite to Guevara, Miro tweeted:

Me and my God are going to talk.

During his reign, Miro had adopted the nickname ‘God’s Favorite Champion’, and while that may not be true anymore, he still has at least one fan, as his wife CJ Perry (previously known as Lana in WWE), tweeted:

You’ll always be my favorite champion @ToBeMiro #AEW

Miro making references to their sex life during most of his promos in recent months has become somewhat of a running joke, but Perry has yet to join AEW or show any signs of doing so other than being mentioned by her husband.

Guevara’s first defence of the title will take place on Dynamite next week against Bobby Fish.
