Former AEW TNT Champion Miro has reunited with a popular WWE star days after his AEW departure was confirmed.
A number of AEW departures were made official on Sunday night, with Malakai Black’s contract with the company officially expiring.
On top of Black’s departure, both Miro and Ricky Starks were also released from the company after previously having their requests denied.
Following their departures, speculation immediately emerged about them joining WWE, with Ricky Starks having already made the move over, making a surprise debut on last night’s NXT show.
Today, WWE’s Sheamus took to Twitter, where he shared a reunion photo with Miro.
Sharing a photo of the two sharing a beer together, he wrote:

Miro, then known as Rusev, was released from WWE back in 2020 after six years on the main roster, where he captured the United States Championship on three occasions.
