# MJF Reacts To AEW Star’s Heel Turn

MJF has reacted to an AEW star turning heel, with the betrayal taking place on the [March 7](https://www.allelitewrestling.com/post/aew-collision-results-march-7-2026) edition of Collision.

History appeared to repeat itself in Tucson, as following Ciampa losing to Daniel Garcia, the former WWE star attacked Mark Briscoe in a very similar way to when he brutalized Johnny Gargano to break up DIY in 2017.

With Ciampa throwing Briscoe into the video boards and hitting Briscoe with a kneepad-less knee strike, MJF has now commented on this moment.

MJF took to [Twitter](https://x.com/The_MJF/status/2030498746447143301) to re-share the video of the attack, which you can watch below.

The AEW World Champion wrote:

*I knew I liked this guy!*

MJF is preparing to defend his AEW World Championship at Revolution on March 15, where he will face Hangman Adam Page in a Texas Death Match.

With Ricochet set to defend his National Championship in a 21 man Blackjack Battle Royal, another former WWE star has [teased joining Ricochet in this match](https://wrestletalk.com/news/former-wwe-star-aew-revolution-bishop-dyer/).
