MJF Comments On Mercedes Mone Joining AEW (Exclusive)

AEW

AEW American Champion MJF has commented on the company signing Mercedes Mone and her contributions to the company.

Mercedes Mone made her AEW debut back in March at the Big Business special episode of Dynamite, where she would appear to open the show, as well as close it out.

In her first official AEW match, Mercedes defeated Willow Nightingale to win the AEW TBS Champion, with her now holding both the TBS and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championships after defeating Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door.

Speaking to WrestleTalk in an exclusive interview, AEW American Champion MJF commented on Mercedes signing with the company, calling her a ‘massive get’.

He said:

“I think she’s a massive get. I feel that she was a big part of starting the women’s revolution in WWE.

“I feel that she has brought a level of star power for sure to our show. And I think she’s a very interesting character.”
