MJF Reveals Ambition To Follow Success Of The Rock & Other WWE Legends WWE/AEW

AEW’s MJF has revealed his ambition to follow the success of WWE legends The Rock, John Cena and Dave Bautista, in his transition from pro wrestling to Hollywood.

After earning roles in The Iron Claw, Happy Gilmore 2 and the upcoming Violent Night 2, MJF’s future in acting is looking promising heading into 2026.

While he shows no signs of slowing down between the ropes – returning to win his second AEW World Championship at Worlds End 225 – MJF has opened up about his ambitions within Hollywood as he approaches 30.

Speaking with Brandon Walker of Mostly Sports, MJF was asked what his five-year plan was, and whether he planned to do more acting or wrestling.

MJF responded:

“More of both. I love both equally I would definitely like to continue on the trajectory of my acting career so far.

“I’ve done three movies, all of them were big budget films and all of them increased my amount of dialogue and screen time and little by little I’d like to continue doing that.”

MJF then revealed his ambition to take a spot on the wrestlers turned actors Mount Rushmore, alongside WWE legends The Rock, John Cena and Dave Bautista:
