MJF Sends ‘Friendly Warning’ Ahead Of AEW Dynamite AEW

MJF returned to our screens on the June 5, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite and immediately got to work on the microphone.

Barely minutes into his return, MJF had taken issue with AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay before going to name the “biggest stars” in wrestling that he had beaten.

It would be Rush, however, who would appear and establish the returning star’s first feud that will seemingly take them to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

With the upcoming PPV taking place on June 30, AEW fans have a few weeks to wait before the Las Vegas show.

AEW Dynamite returns on June 12, with Rush sending a threat to MJF in the run up to tomorrow night’s show, tweeting:

“#AEW stop shielding him and let him face a true Luchador. Promise I’ll treat him like he deserves.

“This time; neither a microphone nor a briefcase full of money will save him from the asswhopping beatdown he’s about to get.

“I’LL SHOVE YOUR WORDS DOWN YOUR THROAT #MJF”

Never one to stay silent, MJF responded to the threat with a ‘friendly warning’ of his own, posting:

“Don’t show up for your match on Wednesday.

“Friendly warning.”

Rush recently reacted to the “what?” chants he received during his exchange with MJF on AEW Dynamite.

With Ricochet set to leave WWE when his contract expires, MJF recently ‘bookmarked‘ a suggestion for a promo should the star sign with AEW.

MJF also recently revealed that there is a ‘real possibility‘ that he will eventually sign with WWE.
