An AEW Worlds End match has been confirmed as the field of competitors for MJF’s Dynamite Diamond ring was narrowed to two.
Tonight’s AEW Dynamite (December 4) hosted the annual Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal and featured Evil Uno, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Mark Davis, Action Andretti, Lio Rush, Rocky Romero, The Butcher, Kyle O’Reilly, Lance Archer, Brian Cage and Adam Cole.
The final four came down to O’Reilly, Archer, Cage and Cole.
In the end it would be O’Reilly and Cole as the final two and subsequently they will have a singles match on next week’s AEW Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’.
The winner of that match will go on to face MJF at the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view on December 28 for the Dynamite Diamond ring.
After the match, Cole and O’Reilly had a short verbal exchange before O’Reilly walked away.
Every year since 2019, the Dynamite Diamond ring has eventually been won by MJF as commentary pointed out that he has frequently used it to his advantage as a weapon throughout the years.
