Rumours of MJF potentially joining WWE in 2024 have increased today, as it was reported that MJF is leaning towards not re-signing with AEW when his contract comes up in 2024.
WWE have reportedly shown a lot of interest in Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and with Cody Rhodes’ recent WWE return, that would seem to be the most likely destination should he leave AEW.
Speaking with Brandon Walker on Barstool Rasslin’, MJF was asked about if he would be interested in wrestling Roman Reigns if he wound up in WWE. MJF then named the other WWE stars he would love to wrestle.
He said:
“I would imagine. I think me and him would have a tremendous match. I think it would be a friendly competition. I would also love to wrestle Seth Rollins. I would love to wrestle The Miz.”
MJF is slated to face Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing, should Wardlow meet all the terms that MJF laid out for him on last night’s AEW Dynamite.
With MJF potentially heading to WWE in the future, here are six AEW stars who could end up leaving for WWE.
