MJF made his long awaited return to AEW back at All Out, when he was revealed as the mystery Joker in the Casino Ladder match, earning him a future shot at the AEW World Championship whenever he chooses.
Since his return, MJF has butted heads with Wheeler Yuta, with whom he is set to wrestle in his first match since Double or Nothing on this week’s anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite.
MJF shared a clip of an old match between he and Yuta, to which a fan responded, hoping to see MJF lock up with Eddie Kingston in the future.
MJF however disagreed, simply responding:
I’ll never wrestle that slob.
Kingston took exception to MJF’s comments, responding by telling him that all he thinks about whenever he speaks, and posted a gif of the ‘acting’ sketch from Saturday Night Live.
Max then responded again, because of course he did, saying:
I’m as authentic as it gets. I’m sure that’s real scary for a fake tough guy from the slums of Yonkers.
Kingston last appeared for AEW on the Grand Slam special episode of AEW Rampage, when he defeated Sammy Guevara, before the referees reversed the decision, awarding the victory to Guevara as Kingston did not release the hold he had on Sammy.
