MJF has reacted to Adam Cole’s AEW return at last night’s AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event in Tacoma, Washington.
Cole has been out of action for over a year, suffering an ankle injury at AEW Grand Slam in 2023, when he came out to aid MJF during his AEW World Championship match with Samoa Joe.
Cole would remain on AEW television while injured after being revealed as the Devil at Worlds End last year, and leading the Undisputed Kingdom, but had not appeared on AEW television since Double or Nothing, when MJF made his return and took him out.
Last night at AEW WrestleDream, both MJF and Cole made their returns to AEW television, with MJF confronting Daniel Garcia on the show following the TNT Championship match, when Garcia aided Katsuyori Shibata following an attack by Jack Perry.
As MJF went to hit Garcia with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, Cole made his return, chasing off MJF after being officially cleared to return after over a year out of action.
Taking to Twitter following the show, MJF reacted to Cole’s return, simply saying:
Adam Cole.
You’ve made a big mistake.
MJF would post a follow up, questioning why fans would cheer him after the reveal as the Devil last year, adding:
ALSO WHY DID YOU CHEER HIM?!? HES LITERAL SCUM!
Adam Cole.
You’ve made a big mistake.
