MJF Reacts To ‘Bulls**t’ AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring Loss

MJF Reacts To ‘Bulls**t’ AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring Loss AEW

MJF has reacted to Bandido winning the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the December 24 episode of AEW Dynamite.

For the first time since its inception in 2019, the Dynamite Diamond Ring has a new holder as Bandido became the ring’s new owner for 2025 on the Christmas Eve episode of Dynamite.

While Bandido earned the Dynamite Diamond Ring by surviving a battle royal and then defeating Ricochet in singles action, it’s holder of the past five years MJF was not given the chance to defend it.

Addressing the situation during an interview with Brandon Walker on Mostly Sports, MJF, who was still wearing the ring, said he wasn’t involved because Tony Khan “hates his guts”.

MJF also said Bandido winning an AEW World Title shot along with the ring is “bulls**t”, as that was not an opportunity given to him when he successfully defended each year since 2019:

MJF said:

“Think of this as a Super Bowl ring. Just because this guy won it doesn’t meant retract all the ones that I’ve won years after year after year after year.

“So, congrats to this guy, he won the ring because I wasn’t involved in it and my boss is a mark and he hates my guts. He decided (it would) be the first year where if you win the ring you don’t just win money, you also get a guaranteed title shot at Maximum Carnage.

“So I thought that was a little f**king weird that I’ve won this ring year after year and I never got a title shot out of it… So I think that’s kind of bulls**t.

“So yeah I’m not gonna just stop wearing my ring, I’ve got five or six of them, I’ll check my closet when I get home. I’m not gonna stop wearing my ring because some shmegegge won it once.”
