MJF Shows Up In Another Company To Attack Recent AEW Rival

Former All Elite Wrestling World Champion MJF made an unexpected appearance in another company to attack a recent on-screen AEW rival.

On Thursday, June 26, Major League Wrestling held their anticipated Summer of the Beasts event at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

During the show CMLL’s Mistico made an appearance to cut a promo, however, he was interrupted by several members of MLW’s Contra Unit.

Mistico was successful in warding the masked assailants off, however, one more individual would then show up behind the former MLW Middleweight Champion and delivered a low blow.

Originally wearing a Mistico mask underneath another mask, the individual revealed themselves to be MJF – who recently lost to Mistico via disqualification at AEW Grand Slam Mexico on June 18.

MJF then beat on Mistico some more before stating that they would wrestle again, with vowing to beat Mistico “within an inch of his life”.

It’s not yet known where or when this potential rematch will take place, but we will provide an update if any announcements are made.

MJF’s appearance in MLW was his first in the promotion since 2020, with the AEW star achieving success both as a singles star and in The Dynasty faction alongside Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday.
