MJF Upcoming Movie Role Details Revealed AEW

More details of MJF’s upcoming role in the Netflix movie Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler, have been revealed.

The movie sees Sandler reprise his role as the ice hockey player turned golfer, and is a sequel to the 1996 box office success.

In the upcoming Netflix movie, Sandler’s Gilmore is now a father to four adult boys, played by MJF, Ethan Cutkosky, Conor Sherry and Philip Schneider.

MJF portrays Gordie, with Cutkosky as Wayne, Sherry as Terry and Schneider playing Bobby.

In an AP News article, the boys are described as “just goons” by acting newcomer Schneider, with MJF going on to reveal he didn’t have to prove his ice rink prowess, laughing while saying:

“I looked like a goon, so they just assumed I’d be fine on the rink.”

Over a four-month shoot, the actors found their flow as the troublesome Gilmore offspring, with Cutkovsky noting that their dynamic, explaining:

“The fast pace of stupidity that we got to and what made us family was such an amazing thing. It’s really hard to come by.”

MJF would go on to reveal how close the on-screen siblings became in between their scenes, stating:

“In between scenes, we could like look at each other and know what we were thinking and make each other laugh without talking.”

Schneider would say that Sandler was instrumental in bringing them together, revealing that the Golden Globe-nominated star made the whole set feel like a family.

MJF isn’t the only wrestler appearing in Happy Gilmore 2, with a previous report stating that WWE’s Becky Lynch also has a role.
