AEW Star Comments On Philadelphia Phillies ‘Scissoring’ On Way To The World Series AEW

An AEW star has commented on the Philadelphia Phillies “scissoring” on their way to the World Series.

The Acclaimed has skyrocketed up the ranks and become one of the most popular acts in All Elite Wrestling, maybe the entire business.

Their popularity has stemmed from their “scissoring” catchphrase and handshake. This signature handshake has spilled over into the MLB.

During Game 5 of the MLB NLCS, Rhys Hoskins hit a home run to give the Philadelphia Phillies a 2-0 lead against San Diego Padres.

During Hoskins’ celebration with his team, the first baseman scissored with outfielder Brandon Marsh in the dugout.

AEW World Tag Team Champion Anthony Bowens took to Twitter to take notice and correctly pointing out that everyone loves The Acclaimed.

Bowens tweeted:

Rhys Hoskins and Brandon Marsh scissor in the dugout! Everybody loves the Acclaimed @Bowens_Official @PlatinumMax

Bowens and Max Caster defeated The Varsity Athletes to retain the scissoring trademark on the October 21 edition of AEW Rampage.
