Montez Ford Makes Very Intriguing Comment About Potential Street Profits Split WWE

The Street Profits team of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are undoubtedly one of the best and most charismatic tag teams WWE has on its roster, but there are plenty of people who would like to see them go their separate ways at some point.

Montez Ford in particular has been touted by many as a potential future WWE Champion, and it seems Ford himself has similar dreams.

Speaking to WrestlingInc’s Nick Hausman ahead of the WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, Ford said:

“If the draft happens and they, you know, we’re forced to go our separate ways, we’re definitely going to keep that support there. Keep bringing it 100 percent. I know as a kid, speaking for myself, I’ve always had dreams of being a WWE World Champion.

“That dream just never fades away man. You know, when you’re here, I feel like if you’re not trying to be the guy or the team, then what are you here for? You know besides the money. But still at the same time, like you want to create a legacy.”

These comments are even more interesting after Michael Cole made a suggestion that Ford and tag partner Angelo Dawkins were not getting along, so perhaps WWE is planning a split in the near future.

Dave Meltzer did report recently that people backstage in WWE have been pushing the idea of using Ford as a singles star, especially now that he’s put on some size.
