Things have become much more flexible in wrestling lately. Stars have been able to work for major companies without contracts more than they had before. Two more examples of this have been AEW’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds.
Chris Jericho revealed on his latest Q&A that Silver and Reynolds only recently signed their contracts with All Elite Wrestling. Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:
“I gotta hand it to John Silver and Alex Reynolds, who also signed their contracts this week. Their first national contracts after 14 years. They deserved it, too. They did do some great work, they have a great match coming up [in] the following week. So, I love seeing that.”
Silver and Reynolds debuted for AEW back in 2019 and were quickly recruited by the Dark Order. Since then they have served as the recruiters of the group, being featured prominently on Being The Elite.
They haven’t had much success in the ring in AEW, but perhaps that will change now that they are both under contract. The two will have a chance on Dynamite this week when they take on Cody and the debuting Matt Cardona.
