Did WWE tease the return of Bray Wyatt to the Bakersfield live crowd last night by playing a licensed rock song?
Fans in attendance at last night’s WWE house show in Bakersfield noted that they too experienced the same in between match oddity that occurred during the WWE SmackDown taping Friday night.
After the lights dimmed, a 60’s rock song began playing without any additional details.
Jefferson Airplane’s psychedelic anthem, White Rabbit played after the lights went out and many former fireflies in the crowd sprung into action with their phones held high in the air.
While the song playing alone doesn’t mean Bray Wyatt will be returning, speculation began running wild that it was a sign of his imminent return.
Bray Wyatt is perpetually in the wrestling news about whether or not he may be making an imminent return with the most compelling recent evidence coming recently.
Reportedly, Bray Wyatt has indeed been in contact with WWE since Triple H has taken over creative after the retirement of Vince McMahon.
Another common theory after the song was played in a similarly mysterious fashion during a commercial break at the WWE SmackDown taping was that the song was really for Karrion Kross.
Kross went by the moniker, ‘The White Rabbit’ during a period of his run with Lucha Underground however fans in attendance for the Bakersfield tease note that Kross wasn’t at this show nor was he advertised to be.
Hmm… the mystery continues!
