More Shakeups On WWE Board Of Directors As CEO Of Barstool Sports Is Out WWE

In an ever changing WWE landscape, there has been some more business shakeups according to documents filed by the company with the SEC.

Two new members of the WWE Board of Directors have been elected while another is on her way out according to the document filed with the United States government.

According to a press release new board members Michelle McKenna and JoEllen Lyons Dillon were elected to the board.

In the SEC filing, WWE declared that CEO of Barstool Sports, Erika Nardini had resigned from the WWE Board of Directors.

While that might sound juicy, the filing provides reasonable rationale for the change, noting a major shift since the acquisition of Barstool Sports, writing:

“Concurrent with the election of Mses. Dillion and McKenna, Erika Ayers Nardini has resigned from the Board.

“With the recent acquisition of Barstool Sports by Penn Entertainment, Ms. Ayers Nardini’s time will be focused on the next chapter of this business and partnership.

“Ms. Ayers Nardini’s decision to resign from the Board was not due to any dispute or disagreement with [WWE], its management or any matter relating to [WWE’s] operations, policies or practices.”

WWE Board of Directors is comprised of 11 current members: Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Steve Koonin, Ignace Lahoud, Steve Pamon, Man Jit Singh, Jeffrey R. Speed, Alan M. Wexler, Michelle McKenna & Jo Ellen Lyons Dillon.
