More Details About Enzo Amore Survivor Series Stunt Revealed

More details have emerged regarding Enzo Amore’s harebrained decision to attempt to hijack Survivor Series last night.

Firstly, to dispel all of the rumours going around: no, this was not an elaborate work designed to reintroduce Amore to the WWE audience. WWE officials and wrestlers had no idea that Enzo was there and many backstage were furious with him.

Although Enzo was taken backstage he was only there for a matter of seconds, not interacting with anyone prior to his ejection via an exit door. It was later reported that Amore was banned from the Staples Center indefinitely.

For those who missed what happened, the incident occurred at the start of the AOP-Bar match, with Enzo removing his wig and hoodie disguise, jumping up on his seat, doing his catchphrases and making a general spectacle of himself.

Security chief Lisa tackled Amore, as seen in the video doing the rounds, and he was kicked out. WWE expertly shot around all of this so none of it made it to air.

A female fan injured her arm in the fracas, seemingly when Enzo landed on her after being tackled. She was taken away to receive medical treatment but later returned to her seat and watched the rest of the show. There may yet be more fallout from this.

There are also unconfirmed report that security “roughed up” Enzo a little when they realised it was him but there is no evident to support this yet.

Enzo’s motivation has also since become apparent. It seems the so-called ‘Real1’ was in the building to promote his upcoming gig in the city immediately following Raw. Several fans reported that they had received flyers for the show on their cars, as seen below:

Enzo – who was in the news earlier this week for getting kicked off a flight after refusing to stop vaping – commented on the incident, sort of, on Twitter:

Nobody in WWE has made any comment regarding the incident as to not draw any unwanted attention to it. The exception is Enzo’s ex-girlfriend Liv Morgan, who shortly after it all went down posted:
