More Details On Cody Rhodes WWE Return Deal WWE

More details have emerged on Cody Rhodes WWE deal, following his return at WrestleMania 38.

On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, Cody told fans that joining WWE was an easy decision.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Rhodes has several unique benefits included in his new WWE contract, including the ability to do outside TV shows, including Go Big Show with WarnerMedia.

Pointing out that Cody will not be able to continue with Rhodes to the Top however, Meltzer said:

“Once he decided to leave (AEW), it was an easy decision if he could get the deal that he wanted, and he got the deal that he wanted. He got this complex deal that allows him to do outside things that a lot of people don’t have the ability to do.

“I don’t know all of the things that he’s got, but I know he’s got that. I know that he can do the TV shows, he can do Go Big Show, if he wants to and if they want him – and there’s no guarantee that they will still want him – but they might. He can do whatever, not Rhodes To The Top because Rhodes To The Top is actually an AEW show, but Go Big Show is a WarnerMedia show but AEW has nothing to do with it.”

Cody Rhodes’ team has also confirmed that Cody has signed a multi-year deal with WWE, following speculation about the length of his new contract.

Cody left his position as AEW Executive Vice President in February. He has since stated that he doesn’t think he wants another management job in wrestling ever again.

The American Nightmare has also addressed his Stardust reference at WrestleMania 38, which you can read about right here.
