There has been an update on Bayley’s injury that WWE reported earlier today (July 9).
WWE announced that Bayley would be out of action for approximately nine months due to injury.
In an update to this story, PWInsider is reporting that the belief is that Bayley has torn her ACL, and that it was suffered while training at the WWE Performance Center.
The company has been holding mandatory training sessions at the PC for main roster talent to get them ready to return to the road.
Sean Ross Sapp is also reporting that it happened chain wrestling with another talent and was referred to as a “freak accident”.
WWE also announced that they will announce Bayley’s replacement in the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Money In The Bank on tonight’s SmackDown.
