More Hype For Huge Teased AEW Revolution Match

Shaquille O’Neal has recently responded to Cody Rhodes, warning the AEW executive to keep his mouth shut.

Rhodes appeared on the January 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, teasing a match between him and the 7-footer. It seems likely to be a mixed tag match with Red Velvet teaming with Rhodes, and Jade Cargill teaming with O’Neal

The former NBA star didn’t take kindly to Rhodes’ words. Speaking with TMZ Sports to promote The Shaq Bowl,  the basketball legend was asked about his pro wrestling future.

O’Neal confirmed that he will not appear in this year’s Royal Rumble match, however he had some strong words for the AEW Vice President. Threatening that he might have to take matters into his own hands, O’Neal advised Cody to keep his mouth shut

“Royal Rumble, no. But there is this guy in AEW that’s been talking noise, a guy by the name of Cody Rhodes. He has one more thing to me before I jump in the ring and beat him up. Cody, if you’re listening to this, keep your mouth shut, or else!”

With Rhodes teasing a match for AEW Revolution, it seems like the ball is in Shaquille O’Neal’s court.

Threatening to “jump in the ring”, it seems as if O’Neal is planning to make an appearance on AEW Dynamite sooner or later.

AEW Revolution 2021 takes place on March 7, and will feature Sting’s return to in-ring action.
