More matches have been confirmed for the WWE Crown Jewel 2024 premium live event on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
Tonight’s SmackDown played host to the ‘Game 7’ match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in their best of seven series, with their previous six matches producing a 3-3 scoreline.
LA Knight served as the special guest referee for tonight’s decider, but would end up laying out both men and declaring himself the winner.
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis confronted Knight backstage soon after, and declared that since there wasn’t a decisive winner, Knight would now have to defend his United States Championship against both Andrade and Hayes in a three-way at Crown Jewel.
Later in the show, a four-team championship match was also added to Crown Jewel as all three brand’s General Managers were present for the announcement.
For the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will defend against three teams.
The challengers will be Damage CTRL members IYO SKY & Kairi Sane, Meta-Four members Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, and the team of Piper Niven & Chelsea Green.
