Following last night’s final episode of Raw before WrestleMania 34 this Sunday, more names have been confirmed to be taking part in either the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal or the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal. On Raw, we also learned that both battle royals will be on the WrestleMania 34 Kickoff show, along with the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match.
Starting with Raw, three members of the red brand confirmed entry into the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, the first being Goldust, who later that night engaged in a ‘battle of the mentalists’ against ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy.
In a WWE.com exclusive, both Heath Slater and Rhyno also announced their inclusion in the André Battle Royal this Sunday, with Slater claiming that they will be the first tag team to ever win the match, but Rhyno correctly pointing out that it is indeed every man for himself. The two have spent the last couple of weeks getting beaten up by Elias on Raw.
Moving onto the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal now, and three ladies declared their entry, the first two being Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville of Absolution, though their announcement took a back seat to the ongoing storyline between once-best friends, Bayley and Sasha Banks. The match will mark the WrestleMania debuts of both Rose and Deville, albeit on the Kickoff show.
And finally, Mickie James has also confirmed participation. James has spent the last month-and-a-half following Alexa Bliss around for seemingly no reason whatsoever.
