Some more news has come to light regarding how a recent COVID-19 outbreak within WWE led to changes on last night’s episode of Raw.
As per Wrestling Inc, two referees on the Raw brand are in quarantine as a precautionary measure and weren’t present last night.
This answers the question as to why Jessika Carr – a SmackDown referee – was on the show last night, as she was filling in for those absent.
As we’ve previously covered, there were no Raw Underground segments on last night’s show, which was also due to the outbreak.
A number of WWE talents and other staff are currently quarantining whether they’ve tested positive themselves or if they’ve come into contact with anyone who’s tested positive.
We’ll continue to keep you updated with any more news regarding COVID-19 and how it is affecting WWE and the world of wrestling.
