More news has emerged after it was reported yesterday that WWE had been discussing Edge vs “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for WrestleMania 37.
It was WrestleVotes who first reported that news, and they’ve since provided a new update.
The plans for Edge vs The Fiend actually came from the idea of Fiend & Alexa Bliss having a mixed tag team match, and Edge and his wife Beth Phoenix were mentioned as possible opponents.
WrestleVotes does note that the a source said that both matches (Edge vs The Fiend / Edge & Beth Phoenix vs The Fiend & Alexa Bliss) are “unlikely”.
It also states that the plan currently is still, as it has been for a while now, an Edge vs Randy Orton rematch.
