Mr. Iguana has been announced for an upcoming match against a WWE legend after his appearance at Worlds Collide.
AAA star Mr Iguana was arguably the breakout star of the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event last month, with him teaming with Octagon Jr and Aero Star in the show’s opening match to defeat Dragon Lee, Lince Dorado and Cruz Del Toro.
Following his performance, there has been a lot of speculation on when we may see Mr. Iguana appear on WWE television next, but in the meantime, he has been announced for a rather intriguing match.
It was today announced by AAA that Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra would defend their Mixed Tag Team Championship against WWE NXT star Lola Vice and WWE legend and current TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella at the upcoming Verano De Escandalo event on July 11.
Vice teamed up with Stephanie Vaquer to defeat AAA’s Dalys and Chik Tormenta at Worlds Collide last month.
SmackDown stars Angel and Berto of Los Garza and Legado Del Fantasma recently captured the AAA World Tag Team Championship, and have appeared with the titles on recent episodes of SmackDown.
