We have a number of matches announced for next week’s episode of NXT. Three matches were announced on tonight’s show, including one with championship implications.
The biggest of the three matches will see Bronson Reed take on Austin Theory of The Way. The match was made after an altercation backstage during tonight’s show where Reed stated he wanted another shot at the North American Championship. Now, if Reed defeats Theory, he will get the title shot.
Reed was able to earn a shot at the title at NXT Takeover Stand and Deliver by winning the Gauntlet Elimination match. He was unable to capture the title, however, as Johnny Gargano defeated him on Night Two.
Mercedes Martinez will also compete on next week’s show, taking on Dakota Kai. Martinez cut a promo on tonight’s show saying Kai still barks the orders for Raquel Gonzalez. This appears to be setting up a title match between Martinez and Gonzalez.
The final match that was announced is a big six-man tag team match. After a big brawl on tonight’s show, MSK will team with Kushida to take on Legado Del Fantasma.
