A number of independent wrestling stars were present at last night’s episode of WWE NXT at the Performance Center.
Last night’s episode of WWE NXT saw an emotional ending, when Andre Chase was defeated by Ridge Holland in the main event, causing the end of Chase U as we know it.
However, some notable names were spotted in the crowd for the show, including the reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion Rhio, as well as other British independent stars Tate Mayfairs and Molly Spartan.
As of now, it is not known what exactly their appearance at NXT means, and that there has been no official word on any change to the respective statuses.
It was reported back in July that WWE could have potential interest in bringing in Rhio after she was invited to the WWE Clash at the Castle premium live event in Glasgow back in June.
No deal between the two sides was offered or discussed at the time, though it was noted that Rhio wouldn’t have been invited by the company if there was no interest.
Rhio currently resides in Orlando after getting her US visa.
It's been a while since I've had the chance to give a @sarahschreib appreciation post ( Rhio guest appearance in the background) #wwenxt pic.twitter.com/XLCMC6iz4H
