Multiple Scrapped WWE WrestleMania 41 Matches Confirmed WWE

Multiple matches that were pitched to take place at WWE WrestleMania 41 but were ultimately scrapped have been revealed.

WWE recently announced an upcoming new series titled ‘WWE Unreal’, which will give fans a look behind the curtain into the WWE writers room.

A trailer for the series aired during Monday Night Raw, which showed a shot of the inside of the writers room, and some interesting details were picked up on.

The whiteboard featured pitches for WWE WrestleMania 41, and a number of matches that were, at that point, either planned or pitched to take place at the event.

While some matches like Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena, Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens, AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul and CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins were listed as they happened (or were announced to happen prior to Owens’ injury), there were even more matches listed that didn’t end up taking place.

Those were:

World Heavyweight Championship – CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. GUNTHER

Women’s World Championship – Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair

WWE Women’s Championship – Jade Cargill vs. Nia Jax

Wyatt Sicks vs. Judgment Day

Women’s Tag – Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. IYO SKY & Asuka

Bad Bunny vs. Dominik Mysterio

Bron Breakker vs. Drew McIntyre

It is also worth noting that Travis Scott, who would get involved in the WWE Championship main event on the show, was originally listed to be accompanying Rey Mysterio for his match against Chad Gable, who was listed under that name instead of El Grande Americano.
