Mustafa Ali has fuelled speculation about his wrestling future, following Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.
Many stars have taken to Twitter to share their reactions to the events of last night’s event.
Ali also took to social media following the pay-per-view, tweeting:
“one day”
While this is likely in reference to Ali’s desire to wrestle again, many fans have speculated that Ali is specifically interested in joining AEW. Former WWE names Swerve Strickland (fka Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott) and William Regal debuted for AEW on last night’s show.
Ali last wrestled on the October 29, 2021 edition of SmackDown, losing to Drew McIntyre. The WWE star requested his release in January, but WWE reportedly informed Ali that his request will not be granted at this time.
