It has been almost two years since Kofi Kinston took the place of Mustafa Ali prior to Elimination Chamber 2019. While you never know what could have been, the popular theory is that Kingston’s WrestleMania win over Daniel Bryan would have gone to Ali.
Ali has not forgotten about this and cut a promo on Twitter saying he hopes Kingston misses WrestleMania. He went on to say that he hopes Kingston’s broken jaw keeps him out of the Royal Rumble. Here is the tweet and the quote, courtesy of Wrestle Zone:

“I pray to God almighty that your broken jaw prevents you from competing in the Royal Rumble. I hope you broke your jaw so bad you won’t even make it to Elimination Chamber, and I hope you miss WrestleMania. Then you get to feel exactly what I felt sitting at home watching someone take what’s yours. Kofi, a broken jaw isn’t enough. I want to break you the way you broke me.”
Prior to the Gauntlet match that launched the craze of KofiMania in 2019, Mustafa Ali suffered a concussion. Had he been able to compete in the Elimination Chamber match, who knows where Ali would be now. Needless to say, his character hasn’t forgotten about it.
