Mutliple Tag Teams Split Up After Raw Went Off Air

While the majority of the 2021 WWE Draft took place during last week’s SmackDown and last night’s Raw, a number of draft picks were made after the show went off air, and several resulted in tag teams being split up.

The first of these was when both Jinder Mahal and Shanky were drafted to SmackDown, while Veer remained on Raw. Over the past few weeks, Veer has consistently been the most impressive performer from the trio, so it makes sense for him to be a single star for now.

It was also revealed that Natalya would be heading to SmackDown, while her tag partner Tamina would remain on Raw. Natalya could be lined up as a challenger for Charlotte Flair somewhere down the line.

Lastly, we saw Tegan Nox drafted to Raw, leaving her tag partner Shotzi Blackheart on SmackDown. Hopefully both women will now get a chance to prove themselves as singles stars.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Natalya and Tamina weren’t aware that they were going to be split up until it was actually announced, so that must have been a bit of a shock.
